This class follows the adventures of our ancestors from Colonies to Country to Civil War & Reconstruction. With a focus on using primary sources and real historical research methods, student goals for this course are not only to gain a deeper appreciation for the wonder that is the United States, but also develop key 21st century skills in writing, researching, basic publishing, and analysis of multiple genres, sources, and points of view.
